playlist: A Fallen Work Of Art

here is october's playlist; i'd love to include the remix of Andrew Gold's Spooky Scary Skeletons, but i only heard it twice this month (once on october 1st and another as i'm typing now). I also missed my appropriate chance of listening to Little Comet's One Night In October, it completely slipped my mind. 

This playlist includes some new songs, mostly old ones. Each of these songs has either a sentence or tune that stuck to my mind for weeks. San Cisco released RUN and i'm speechless, amazing is an understatement; I've also been listening to Taylor Swift's Riptide cover, slower than my taste but the lyrics are too good to ignore. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the songs; I'll be going back to my Scandal marathon, Happy Helloween!

Kids- Two Door Cinema Club: 

"What did I teach you that money didn't know"

Occupy Your Mind- Villagers:

 The intro changes my heartbeat; used in The Original's season two premier, Rebirth, the scene where Daniel Sharman was introduced.

RUN- San Cisco:

I loved the "heavy breathing" during the intro and "You got your lovely long hair, and your deep sea eyes"

March Into The Sun- Echosmith:

The term "natural high" started some intense thoughts 

Unbelievers- Vampire Weekend:

The lyrics addresses something but the beat of the music kinda makes it polite? The message is there but the 

tone is almost teasing

Wild Child- WEKEED

I've never really related to house music, but this beat clung onto me; it gives a movie-montage feel

Torn Apart- Bastille ft. GRADES

I'm pretty sure I can listen to Dan Smith's talk for hours

Always Where I Need to Be- The Kooks 

"She don't know who she is Oh, I can take her anywhere"; another montage feel

Step- Vampire Weekend

"The gloves are off, the wisdom teeth are out" how it was sung, felt magical

Poet- Bastille

"In eyes not yet created On tongues that are not born" There are so many metaphors and hidden meanings in songs and everyone is able to relate it in their own ways; was it about leaving a mark upon this world? or perhaps something else completely?

The Truth- Foster The People

"I've been searching for directions and I'm convinced the world doesn't know what it needs", Mark Foster's high pitched voice

It's just so good (and kinda reminds me of christmas)
